State Gallery of Lower Austria, a sculptured landmark that engages in a conversation between the ancient and the contemporary, was created by Marte. Marte Architekten.
The design team aimed to develop a continuous shape that would gradually lose the room’s definitions and provide the impression of boundless space. The ‘wormhole’ chamber is the exhibition’s main point, connecting all galleries.

Art Sauna is a continuation of the emotional journey that visitors can take at the Gösta Serlachius Museum. The new structure, which is subtle, intimate, and domestic in scale, joins the site and blends in with the proposed scenario of dialogue between art, nature, and architecture.
