NEOM has just revealed a new location: Jaumur, the largest cosmopolitan luxury community on the coast of the Gulf of Aqaba. Jaumur is designed to offer the highest living standards and an active lifestyle of the future. Located on the coast, this project is the new addition that will create a unique blend of experiences, both land and sea. Among the other NEOM developments, Jaumur also aims to represent Saudi Arabia‘s commitment to creating sustainable tourism destinations.

Jaumur is an exclusive residential community that has been masterplanned to accommodate more than 6,000 residents. The design of the project incorporates the Gulf of Aqaba region’s varied topography. It features 500 marina apartments and around 700 luxury villas with waterfront access and private mooring. Jaumur offers two distinct destination hotels that provide guests with 350 luxurious rooms and suites, allowing them to relish the views and enjoy all aspects of modern coastal hospitality and sports activities.

The marina is the center of the development and the vibrant community of Jaumur. It has a monumental 1.5-kilometer aerofoil that rises above the largest yacht berths. The aerofoil provides year-round protection for yacht owners and is a haven for the marina’s residents and guests. It incorporates a gravity-defying cantilever that forms a stunning entrance to the marina, welcoming the world’s largest superyachts. The sculptural structure is a landmark that serves as the base for all the marina attractions, catering to committed yachting enthusiasts and adventurers seeking personalized experiences.

The marine settlement aims to be a vibrant location filled with a range of entertainment options, offering leisure activities and cultural experiences, including art events and year-round performance programs, with complementing functions such as retail stores and restaurants. While being the place for a socially alive city, the project also highlights its commitment to innovation and learning. The research institute is dedicated to exploring the deep sea, inviting experts and pioneers to discover, learn, and preserve the ocean’s wonders, with the aim of making the NEOM a world-leading center for oceanographic research.
