NEOM has recently unveiled a new destination named Zardun. It is an exclusive sanctuary resort located in the Gulf of Aqaba, which is an ecotourism destination.
Zardun offers a variety of sports and leisure pursuits, such as trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing, stargazing, meditation, and yoga. The place comprises three distinct boutique hotels, offering a total of 100 rooms and suites to its guests.
Zardun features three boutique hotels, amongst which is The Tower Hotel, which is for meditation, yoga, spa, and pool. The Nature Hotel provides ziplining, biking, and rock climbing. Lastly, The Wedge Hotel offers camel trekking, falconry, hiking, outdoor dining, and more, thereby providing a perfect blend of adventure and luxury.
“Zardun’s sustainability strategy encompasses all aspects of environmental stewardship and will include the creation of a series of oases to support diverse habitats. These life-giving water sources will facilitate the re-introduction and nurturing of native animals, tree and plant species. Along its coast, Zardun will support a vibrant ecosystem, including the conservation of coral reefs and other marine life in the Gulf of Aqaba, emphasizing NEOM’s continuing commitment to environmental preservation.” the NEOM Board of Directors states.
Previously, NEOM announced Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, and Aquellam, which are also located in the Gulf of Aqaba.
