Introduction of the workshop:

The machine learning and deep neural networks, AI algorithms have become increasingly capable of generating high-quality images that can create stunning architectural and art images. AI has revolutionized how we approach concept design. Currently, AI is taking over so many fields in various ways. Throughout this workshop, Instructor Shail will demystify his prompts secrets, ingredients, and hybrid techniques behind AI prompt-crafting process. He will start by providing a comprehensive overview of the fundamentals of Midjourney and prompt-crafting recipes. This workshop will combine different fields, including architecture, art, automobile, fashion, and retail. The workshop will be followed by a Q&A session where students can discuss their questions with the instructor.

The scope of the workshop :

This workshop will focus on developing images of ideas combining art, architecture, fashion, and automobile (interior and exterior), with effects, materials exploration, curation, poetic atmospheres, textures, and form. We will also focus on setting up the camera according to design needs and learning to apply different materials to the same scenes. There will be brainstorming sessions to come out with unique ideas and develop them further using Midjourney. In the workshop, we will use Midjourney’s commands, blend, describe, image prompts, remix, and compare different mid journeys models.

Objectives:

Students will learn to shape their prompts crafting process and visualize their ideas beautifully. They will gain hands-on experience creating and combining designs from various disciplines such as art, architecture, automobile, and fashion. They will learn to train themselves to read images as prompts. Ultimately, everyone will have their version of prompts crafting processes to generate ideas in multidisciplinary fields. After the workshop, the top 3 students can contact the instructor for future projects.

• MidJourney: (subscription required, standard membership recommended) 
• Discord (required): Discord is a free app for Windows, Mac OS, iOS, and Android OS. MidJourney runs through Discord.

Important Notes:

• The “Prompt Intelligence” Studio workshop by PAACADEMY will start on Saturday, July 29th, at 17:00 (GMT).
• Total sessions: 2 Sessions
• The teaching duration per session will be around 4 hours.
• Students will have time for a break between teaching hours.
• Each session and the entire studio will be recorded, and videos will be available for participants just a day after the class for unlimited time.
• PAACADEMY will provide a certificate of attendance.
• No previous knowledge of any software is required. You will learn everything in the workshop.

Instructor:

Shail Patel

Shail Patel is an architect with over eight years of professional experience. Having worked in India and China and currently based in the USA, Shail has gained diverse cultural and architectural experiences. Shail worked for FLXBL Design (India), Plasma Studio, Spectrum (Beijing), and UN Studio (Shanghai). He was involved in designing large-scale commercial, public buildings, institutional, retail, and urban design projects, and intentional competitions. Currently, Shail is based in the USA.

He works as a Project Architect + Designer at UACDC, an outreach center of the Fay jones school of Architecture at the University of Arkansas. As an early adopter of AI in architecture, Shail constantly pushes the boundaries of what’s possible. He has been exploring the cutting-edge applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in various fields, including art, fashion, architecture, automobiles, and retail.
