Trojena is a mountain tourism destination currently being constructed in Neom, Tabuk Province, Saudi Arabia.
Trojena, one of several proposed NEOM zones, will be 50 kilometers from the Gulf of Aqaba and will comprise a ski community. The project is currently being built and should be finished by 2026. The area hopes to draw 700,000 tourists and 7,000 long-term inhabitants by 2030.
“The total concrete demand of Trojena encompasses approximately 7.3 million cubic meters, with 53% allocated to buildings and structures and 47% to dams. In alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, we have embraced the Sustainability Concrete Initiative, which aims to utilize 100% of our aggregates from local sources. The materials produced by our construction activities will be incorporated into concrete production. The vault is situated to my left, at the top of the hill.” said Assem Abou Ibrahim, Senior Project Manager of Trojena.
Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives revealed the initiative. The project consists of six major clusters, each containing two pieces of Zaha Hadid Architects designs: Explore Tower and The Mountain Observatory.

Also, in the last three years, NEOM announced a few key projects: The Line, Oxagon, and Sindallah. In addition to this project, Magna encompasses twelve unique destinations: Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, Norlana, Aquellum, Zardun, Xaynor, Elanan, Gidori, Treyam, and Jaumur. Each location, distinct in its offerings, will seamlessly merge, forming a unified and harmonious region.
