Ungoverned Vendetta Electric Powerboard Merges Skateboard, Snowboard, & Tank

Australian designer Dan Baldwin, a creative force at the intersection of extreme sports and engineering, has introduced his boldest hybrid yet: the Ungoverned Vendetta. An all-terrain electric powerboard that blurs the lines between skateboard, snowboard, and tank.

A follow-up to Baldwin’s earlier creation, the Scarpar powerboard, the Vendetta takes that concept even further. This electric board trades wheels for a twin-tracked, articulated design reminiscent of a miniature tank. The result? A powerboard capable of tearing across sand, snow, rocks, and any rugged terrain you throw at it, all while hitting speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour (about 31 mph).

Weighing just 19.5 kg (43 lbs), the Vendetta is powered by centrally mounted brushless hub motors embedded within the track rollers, drawing energy from a swappable battery pack. On a single charge, riders can expect about 40 minutes of runtime at an average speed of 25 kph (16 mph), assuming a 75 kg (165 lb) rider on flat terrain.

Beneath its snowboard-like deck, the Vendetta’s standout feature is its puncture-proof caterpillar tracks, offering four times the surface drive area of a motocross bike at just a fraction of the weight. The result is not only extreme off-road capability but a stable, smooth ride even in unpredictable environments.

Right now, the Vendetta is still a prototype, being mostly hand-built by Dan Baldwin. He’s creating a limited batch of 10 units to refine the design. An Indiegogo campaign is underway to help speed up production, with the final retail price expected to be $6,995.
