Stable Fast 3D Mesh 1

Stability AI announced a new tool called Stable Fast 3D, which enables users to generate 3D assets from a single image. According to the company, the users will be able to generate 3D visuals in just 0.5 seconds. The tool is currently available via Hugging Face, and you can also easily access the bot by using Stable Assitant.

To use the tool, you just need to upload a single image to the bot, and you will receive the object soon. The generator ability includes UV unwrapped mesh, Material parameters, Albedo colors with reduced illumination bake-in, and Optional quad or triangle re-meshing (adding only 100-200ms to processing time).

Stable Fast 3D Mesh

Stable Fast 3D has multiple uses in gaming and movie production. It offers fast inference time during pre-production, which is crucial for experimentation. It is suitable for creating static assets for games such as background objects, clutter, and furniture, as well as 3D models for E-commerce and fast model creation for AR/VR.

Currently, Stable Fast 3D model code is available on GitHub, and model weights and demo space on Hugging Face.
