ODA: Office of Design and Architecture’s first monograph comprehensively considers the studio’s range in architecture, from the scale of the apartment to the building to the neighborhood. The projects are grounded in a humanistic philosophy that seeks community engagement and social connectivity and, above all, aims to inform and uplift.
Established in 2007 by Eran Chen, ODA aims to improve the quality of urban living through innovative designs. ODA challenges traditional views of urban architecture by prioritizing people and aiming to influence city life over time. Their work spans from individual apartments to entire neighborhoods, emphasizing the interconnectedness of communities. Emphasizing that architecture should foster community, ODA’s goal is not only to create comfortable and visually appealing living spaces but also to create a sense of belonging and togetherness.
