Tune in to PATALKS #55, where we had a conversation with Arian Hakimi – the founder of Arian Hakimi Architects and the former Lead Designer at ZHA. During the episode, He discusses his journey in architecture, recent projects he has worked on, and his vision for computational and parametric design.

Arian Hakimi is an Iranian architect, researcher, and educator. He completed his BArch at the University of Tehran and holds a master’s degree in Urban Design and smart Solar Houses from IAAC-Barcelona, where he utilized computational morphogenesis design methodology. He worked at ZHA’s office in London for more than 7 years as a senior designer and was involved in several high-profile projects, including KAFD, an award-winning Metro Station in King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh, at various stages from competition to construction design. In 2022, he founded his office, Arian Hakimi Architects.

Also, he taught a course called “Hyper Patterns” at PAACADEMY. The studio was aimed to redefine our basic understanding of patterns, re-discovering possibilities and expand the rational capacity of complex geometries for the next generation of hyper-building clusters in a multi-scenario multi-objective environment.

Hosted by Hamid Hassanzadeh, founder and creative director of PA, the PA Talks interview series brings together the brightest minds in architecture and design. These captivating conversations explore the lives, careers, and visions for the future of these individuals.
