Midjourney Architecture 3.0:

Artificial intelligence is now making a huge impact in the field of architecture.  Tools like  Midjourney, Dalle2, are reshaping the way we approach design. As this tool is constantly improving, early adopters have developed their own techniques to control the A.I. and refine results. In this studio, Tim Fu of Zaha Hadid Architects will guide participants through developing holistic architectural concepts, focusing on techniques, artistry, and how to prepare for the coming A.I. advancements. 

The Scope of the Studio:

The new and upgraded studio 3.0 is here! This course will now cover both architecture and interior design. Students will learn some of the secrets of prompt crafting (the ability to control diffusion-model AI) to produce industry-quality outputs. Participants will learn to undertake commissioned projects using A.I., drive A.I. towards specific demands, and post-process images through artistic curation. The course is now optimized for 100 participants, where each individual will be able to contribute to the collective knowledge of this community. We will discuss, evaluate, and inspire each other’s work.

• The Midjourney Architecture 3.0 workshop by PAACADEMY will start on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11:00 GMT.
• Total sessions: 2 sessions
• Daily Schedule: 11:00 – 15:00 GMT.
• The entire studio will be recorded, and videos will be available for participants just a day after the class for an unlimited time.
• PAACADEMY will only provide a certificate of attendance for students who deliver a final project.

Instructor:

Tim Fu

Tim is a Canadian Architectural Designer working at Zaha Hadid Architects in London, UK. He is part of ZH CODE (Computational research group) where he specializes in algorithmic design and related computational research for projects worldwide. He previously worked as Project Lead at IJP Architects where his work can be found in CNN, Archdaily, AJ, and Dezeen. He graduated master’s with distinction from the Architectural Association and ran a computational design workshop at the Harvard GSD. Tim’s continual exploration of A.I. in architecture has caught global attention and he’s been actively working both at ZHA and independently to find methods of adapting A.I. into the architectural practice.
