Healing From Another World

“Healing From Another World,” a floating universe that flows and bounces from the first to second floors of Showfields Miami’s historical space, enveloping its metallic slide in a sea of Floridian-inspired hues of color and contrast. Wade and Leta developed a sense of wondrous joy and overwhelming excitement. This universe’s inflatables are inspired by fluidity and buoyancy, as bubbles disperse within the water as ocean waves tickle the shore.

Showfields is a multi-level store highlighting unique, direct-to-consumer wellness, home & design brands. During the pandemic, Showfields approached Wade and Leta to create an installation that would release once the world had started to “go back to normal.”

Wade and Leta use the power of performative design to produce visually pleasing and emotionally impactful creations that span from traditional identities to vibrantly charged compositions encompassing all disciplines.

Healing From Another World is an enthralling visual experience that inspires all who see it to look high and low, near and far, in and out, and all around for new ways of seeing. This installation incites the idea that art is approachable to all who wish to interact with it, whether standing on the second floor to gaze down at its tops or lying on the floor and staring upwards at the roof. Visitors are encouraged to formulate their perspectives. In terms of how humans perceive color, everyone finds meaning in what they see, and every meaning is subjectively correct.
