The Yacht Club, a project dreamed up by Dragos Epure, was born from the desire to create a seamless, fluid exhibition space where both NFT collectors and casual viewers could converge. The project was designed as part of PAACADEMY‘s “Meta-Fluid Studio 2.0” with Mariana Cabugueira.

The Yacht Club aims to be more than just an exhibition space for NFTs and digital art. It wants to be a fully immersive experience that blurs the lines between the physical and digital worlds. The mobile platforms and ramps will be designed to be ever-changing, creating a sense of unpredictability and excitement for visitors as they explore the space.

The use of light and dynamic lines will add to the feeling of fluidity and movement, making the space feel alive and constantly evolving. From socializing open areas to private capsules for meditation and reflection, where visitors can listen to music and view their own NFTs, will be designed to be peaceful and serene, providing a contrast to the energy of the socializing areas. These areas will be designed to encourage interaction between visitors, with the 3D holograms of the art adding an element of surprise and intrigue.

The Yacht Club will also feature virtual reality experiences that allow visitors to fully immerse themselves in the art and the metaverse. These experiences will be tailored to each individual visitor, providing a personalized and unique experience. In addition to being a destination for NFT collectors and art enthusiasts, the Yacht Club will also serve as a hub for the creative community. Artists and creators will be able to showcase their work and connect with potential buyers and collaborators.

The Yacht Club will also host events and workshops, providing opportunities for education and networking. The design of the space would be inspired by the fluid form of the land, with dynamic lines and accents of light that immerse visitors in a borderland between the imaginary and the real. As the metaverse continues to expand, the Yacht Club aims to be a revolutionary concept, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the digital world and providing a new form of socialization and interaction for the metaverse. It’s a place where visitors can escape from immediate reality and explore their desired and ideal universe.
