The featured Architect Reza Daneshmir of Fluid Motion Architects is an academician, writer, and a speaker for various talks.
Born in 1965, Daneshmir actively pursued painting and music, and had several shows in some of Tehran’s established galleries, such as Seyhoun Gallery, Aria, Vanak No. 13, Iran’s First Biennale, and Niavaran Cultural Center among others. He began his professional career as an architect in 2000, with Ave Gallery that included the transformation of an abandoned swimming pool into an art gallery. With almost fifty architectural projects including Valiasr Mosque, Ava Center, Jaam Tower, Golfam Office Building, etc. Daneshmir has given lectures in various architecture schools in cities like Tehran, Tabriz, Hamedan, and Kerman as a professor. His work for a furniture gallery and visual art works was selected among 160 projects as the Fourth Honour Award prize winner and also received a citation in Grand Me’mar Award 2001. In recent years, Mellat Park Cineplex won first place in the Memar award 2008. He has lectured in different universities for 10 years and has published many articles in architectural magazines.
