Aquellam

NEOM has announced the launch of a new luxury destination called Aquellam. Located on the Gulf of Aqaba coastline, it is the world’s first floating marina, located within 450 meters of mountains. Guests can access this hidden community by traveling through a concealed underground canal. The project looks as futuristic as other NEOM projects.

“Crafted to inspire originality and imagination, Aquellum will push the boundaries of conventional design and construction possibilities,” stated NEOM.

“A dynamic boulevard winds through the courtyard, connecting diverse social spaces, world-class hospitality, immersive arts, events, shopping and dining. A signature space, dubbed ‘The Generator’, houses unique research labs for disruptors, innovators, and creative thinkers, offering a platform where the future is reimagined.”

Aquellam will offer diverse facilities, including hotel accommodations, apartments, retail spaces, leisure and entertainment zones, and a transit system that facilitates access to other facilities.

Also, Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, said about their passion for building this new city, “They say a lot of projects in Saudi Arabia can’t be done; they’re too ambitious. They can keep saying that, and we can keep proving them wrong,”

Previously, NEOM announced Leyja, Epicon, Siranna, Utamo, and Norlana, which are also located in the Gulf of Aqaba.
