Sanjay Puri is the Founder and Principal Architect of Sanjay Puri Architects, a leading architecture firm based in Mumbai, India. He earned his degree in architecture in 1988 from Rachana Sansad Academy of Architecture, Mumbai, and in 1992 established his own practice with a vision to create designs that are unique, contextually responsive, and sustainable.
His design philosophy emphasizes spatial experimentation, innovation, and a strong responsiveness to climate and site. Puri’s work often highlights organic forms, maximizing natural light and ventilation while integrating sustainable practices.
Under his leadership, Sanjay Puri Architects has grown into one of the most recognized firms in India, with an extensive portfolio spanning residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed-use, and institutional projects. The firm has received numerous international awards and is consistently ranked among the top architectural practices globally.
