The British ultra-luxury performance brand Aston Martin opened the firm’s first residential tower on 30 April. The 66-story tower is located in Downtown Miami, where the Miami River meets Biscayne Bay. The 249-meter tall tower was developed in collaboration with G&G Business Developments and claims to be the tallest all-in residential structure in Florida.

For the tower’s design, Aston Martin’s design team collaborated with Argentinian architect Rodolfo Miani from the Bodas Mian Anger architecture studio. The complex features 391 condominiums and Sky Amenities, spanning four full levels connected with a monumental glass staircase, such as a fitness center, movie theaters, a virtual golf simulator, an art gallery, a conference room, a business center, a playroom, a spa, and a beauty salon, which cover around 4,000 square meters.

Alongside the Sky Amenities, the tower even includes an infinity pool on the 55th floor, offering panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean, and Miami’s cityscape. There is also a pool deck, jacuzzis, and cabanas available for guests. The floor features an ultra-luxurious sky bar and lounge, as well as a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen, ballroom, and private dining areas.

The condominiums and amenity spaces are housed within a distinguished sail-shaped building that mirrors the marina setting. The building provides stunning panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, the Miami River, and the vibrant city skyline. Besides its symbolic relevance, the sail also serves practical purposes such as providing ventilation and shoring the structure against high-force winds. Aston Martin aimed to create a building that embodies the excitement and grace that the brand represents, and its architecture pays tribute to the sleek lines of its motorcars.

“Using curvilinear glass and steel and soaring 66 storeys into the sky, the architectural design of the building’s exterior pays homage to the dramatic lines of our ultra-luxury high performance sports cars. And while Aston Martin is renowned for fusing time honoured craftsmanship and beautiful styling, we always strive to go beyond the expected, rationale, and thoughtful. Our philosophical approach to design is to always push a boundary. Always challenge, and never accept something as just enough.”

“Our design language is based on beauty and the honesty and authenticity of materials. Aston Martin Residences Miami is for people who appreciate the finest quality and craftsmanship, who love the feeling of something that is timeless.”

The project has already gained an important amount of anticipation from ultra-luxury home buyers even before construction is completed. Ahead of the opening day, 99% of the 391 condominiums were sold, and over 50 residents of the community are Aston Martin owners, attracted by the brand’s unique design philosophy and iconic status among car enthusiasts. The building’s highlight condominium is the “Unique Triplex Penthouse,” one of seven penthouses available for purchase. It is still on the market for $59 million and encompasses 2,500 square meters of living space.
