iPhone 17 Series with Four Models

Apple is widely expected to introduce four new iPhones for 2025: the iPhone 17, the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air, the iPhone 17 Pro, and the flagship iPhone 17 Pro Max. The standout of the lineup may be the iPhone 17 Air, rumored to measure just 5.5 mm thick and weigh around 145 grams, making it Apple’s thinnest and lightest iPhone to date.

All models are anticipated to feature 120 Hz OLED displays with HDR10 and Dolby Vision support. Screen sizes may range from 6.3 inches on the iPhone 17 to 6.9 inches on the Pro Max. Brightness is rumored to reach 2,500 nits, offering improved visibility in strong sunlight.

Performance Powered by A19 and A19 Pro Chips

The iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air run on Apple’s new A19 chip, designed for efficiency and everyday performance. The Pro models step up with the A19 Pro, a processor tuned for demanding tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, and professional content creation.

On the camera front, the standard models feature a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, while the Pro devices gain a triple 48 MP system with up to 8× optical zoom, improved low-light performance, and advanced photography. These upgrades aim to strengthen Apple’s lead in smartphone photography.

Bigger Batteries, Faster Charging, and eSIM Push

The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to include a 5,000 mAh battery for extended use. Pro models may also see faster USB-C wired charging, while MagSafe support is set to continue across the lineup. In a notable shift, the iPhone 17 Air is rumored to drop the physical SIM tray entirely, moving toward an eSIM-only design.

Storage options are also expected to expand, with standard models ranging from 128 GB to 512 GB, and Pro models offering 256 GB up to 1 TB.

Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3.

Apple’s wearable lineup is also due for updates, with the expected launch of the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Apple Watch SE 3, all reportedly powered by the new S11 chip.

The Series 11 may debut with a slimmer design, new materials, and advanced health features like blood pressure monitoring, muscle activity tracking, and AI-powered live translation. The Ultra 3 is expected to build on its rugged image with tougher materials and expanded health sensors, while the SE 3 continues as a more affordable entry option with tougher materials and new health sensors, while the SE 3 continues as Apple’s entry-level option.

AirPods Pro 3: Audio Gets Smarter

Apple is also rumored to announce the AirPods Pro 3, which may bring improved active noise cancellation, adaptive audio, and a new chip for enhanced performance. USB-C charging and live translation features designed to integrate with iOS 26 and visionOS devices are also expected.

Software and Ecosystem Updates

Alongside hardware, Apple is anticipated to preview its upcoming software rollouts: iOS 26, watchOS 26, macOS Tahoe, and visionOS 26. Expected updates include a Notes app for Apple Watch, live translation features, and refined cross-device experiences.

iPhone 17 Pricing and Availability

Pricing rumors suggest the iPhone 17 will start at $799, while the iPhone 17 Air may be priced between $899 and $949. The iPhone 17 Pro is likely to begin at $1,099 with 256 GB as the new base storage, and the Pro Max at $1,199. Pre-orders are expected to open on September 12, with availability beginning later in the month.

Apple’s September 2025 event is expected to spotlight the iPhone 17 series with slimmer designs, brighter OLED displays, and the new A19 chip family, while the Apple Watch Series 11 and AirPods Pro 3 are rumored to advance the ecosystem with smarter health and audio features.
