Renzo Piano Building Workshop has unveiled renderings of its concept for a three-story cultural center in South Florida, USA. The center will contain public event and education spaces and have a capacity of 6,000 guests.
The project, which was chosen due to a competition for the Centre Culturel Jean-Marie Tjibaou, which the French government announced in 1990, is located in Nouméa, New Caledonia, still considered a French territory, off the east coast of Australia.
Renzo Piano Building Workshop, an Italian architecture firm, has finished the monumental Istanbul Modern Museum, its first project in Turkey. Istanbul Modern was founded in 2004 as Turkey’s first modern and contemporary art museum.
