Bengaluru Sky Tower, designed by Coop Himmelb(l)au, is currently under construction in Karnataka, India. The 250-meter-tall tower will include sky decks and panorama view areas, a VIP area, restaurants, an exhibition, commercial spaces, sky lobby entrance area.

Inspired by the natural growth of the majestic Banyan tree’s intricate algorithms, the Bengaluru Sky Tower combines the wisdom of nature with cutting-edge design. At the top of the structure, a stunning floral sculpture symbolizes the lively spirit of the city, like a flower in bloom.

“The new landmark is not only establishing itself as a new attraction for the residents and visitors of Bengaluru, but also designed as a communication element. The dynamic light system creates the effect of a living architecture and reflects and visualizes what is currently happening in the city or in the world.” said designers about the project.

Wolf D. Prix from Coop Himmelb(l)au is leading the design, with structural engineering expertise provided by Bollinger+Grohmann, and Energy/Environmental Design consultation by Energy Design Cody.
