A decade after the passing of its founder, Zaha Hadid Architects has announced a significant evolution of the practice, unveiling a new name, visual identity, and website. Moving forward, the internationally renowned studio will be known simply as ZHA.
The announcement comes as the final projects directly led by Zaha Hadid approach completion, marking an important milestone in the firm’s history. The rebranding reflects both a tribute to Hadid’s enduring creative legacy and the practice’s continued growth over the past ten years.

Founded on a culture of experimentation and innovation, the studio stated that the transition to ZHA acknowledges how the practice has evolved into an employee-owned collective shaped by nearly 500 architects, designers, engineers, and specialists working across its global offices. While the name changes, the studio emphasizes that its work remains deeply rooted in the vision, methodology, and purpose established by its founder.

Over the past decade, Zaha Hadid Architects has expanded its influence across architecture, urbanism, interiors, and design, delivering projects that continue to push formal, technological, and environmental boundaries. The new identity aims to reflect the practice as it exists today while maintaining a strong connection to the principles that defined its origins.
Currently, more than 100 ZHA projects are in development across six continents, underscoring the scale and international reach of the firm. Through ongoing research, collaboration, and innovation, the practice says it remains committed to advancing architecture and design for the future.
The announcement signals not an end to Zaha Hadid’s legacy, but an evolution of it, or one that positions ZHA for its next chapter while carrying forward the spirit of experimentation that has long defined the practice.
