LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort in Günzburg, Germany, has officially announced plans to build the world’s first LEGO Harry Potter land, along with the first-ever Harry Potter-themed hotel, marking a major expansion of the park’s attractions and guest experiences.

The development comes from a strategic partnership between Merlin Entertainments, Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, and the LEGO Group, bringing together three iconic brands to deliver a unique combination of LEGO creativity and the wizarding world of Harry Potter. Guests will be able to explore well-known magical locations recreated in LEGO form, featuring interactive attractions and fully themed environments made from LEGO bricks.

The new Harry Potter land will be part of the existing LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort, offering fans a first-of-its-kind experience where Hogwarts™ and the surrounding wizarding universe are interpreted through the playful LEGO. While specific ride and attraction details have not been fully released yet, the project promises a dedicated space where visitors can interact with LEGO interpretations of iconic locations and characters from the Harry Potter franchise.

In addition to the themed land, the resort will introduce the world’s first Harry Potter hotel inside a LEGOLAND property. The themed accommodation is designed to extend the magic beyond the park visit. Though complete design details are still pending, early reports suggest the hotel will include immersive décor and experiences inspired by Hogwarts houses and famous scenes from the wizarding world, creating an environment where guests can continue the story overnight.

LEGOLAND Deutschland’s decision to invest in this massive expansion highlights its efforts to broaden its appeal to families, LEGO fans, and Harry Potter enthusiasts alike. The combination of a themed land and a fully immersive hotel experience is expected to attract visitors from across Europe and beyond, offering both day visits and extended stays centered around the Harry Potter universe in LEGO form.
