In an unexpected but exciting move, Mercedes-AMG has officially entered the gaming sector through a collaboration with MSI, releasing their first-ever branded gaming laptop, the MSI Stealth A16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Motorsport Edition. This limited-edition machine combines high-performance gaming hardware with Mercedes’ racing-inspired aesthetics in a sleek, track-bred chassis.
The Stealth A16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG is the AMD Ryzen™ AI 9 HX 370 processor. According to MSI’s specification sheet, this is a 12-core, 24-thread CPU with a boost clock of up to 5.1 GHz. It also includes an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) capable of delivering up to 50 NPU TOPS, or 80 AI TOPS in certain stress profiles. To handle graphics and gaming workloads, the laptop is equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU, delivering a boost clock of up to 2025 MHz and a maximum graphics power of 95 W with Dynamic Boost.
Memory and storage are ample. The model comes with 32 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM (in a dual-channel configuration) and a 2 TB NVMe PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
Display and Design
The laptop features a 16-inch QHD+ OLED display (2560 Ă— 1600) with a 240 Hz refresh rate. This high-refresh, color-accurate screen supports 100% DCI-P3 color coverage, promising vivid visuals for both fast-paced games and creative tasks.
One of the most striking aspects of this machine is its build. The chassis is crafted from a magnesium-aluminium alloy, keeping it light and durable while projecting a refined, performance-driven look. The finish is in “Selenite Grey,” directly inspired by Mercedes-AMG’s racing design language, and it carries co-branded AMG Motorsport emblems.

The Stealth A16 AI+ offers a solid set of ports, including USB-C (USB4 / DisplayPort / Power Delivery), USB-A, and an HDMI 2.1 port capable of outputting 8K at 60 Hz or 4K at 120 Hz. The keyboard is a per-key RGB design by SteelSeries, complete with a dedicated “Copilot” key.
On the power front, the laptop is backed by a 4-cell, 99.9 Wh battery, and for security, it includes features like a fingerprint sensor, secured-core PC, and a webcam shutter.
Price, Edition, and Positioning
This Mercedes-AMG-branded laptop is positioned as a premium, limited-edition model. Reports peg the price at around €2,899, aligning with its high-end specs and the exclusivity associated with the AMG branding. Interestingly, this release coincides with Mercedes-AMG’s celebration of its 16th DTM Manufacturers’ Championship win, tying its motorsport legacy to the gaming world. In addition to this gaming-focused laptop, MSI has also launched a Prestige 16 AI+ Mercedes-AMG Edition, aimed at productivity users who want performance with AMG styling.
